Interview with TSOTB?

Many people seem to have unsolved question about the Sins.

This topic is meant to post your possible questions. With enough reply and good questions, an interview can be proposed to the band.

That's A very nice and useful topic.

Well, i would be very interested to know why such a very promising band like TSOTB with the extremely original and fantastic sound didnt got the proper promotion that should have had.By this time they should have been as famous as Tristania,After Forever etc etc...It's really a pity. They didnt want at that time to be envolved in such a great scale or the record label didnt promote them as they wished?

Will they change their style or will it still be the same as the two previous albums?

Very important to me because I don't like it when bands i really like change their style!

What happened during the long break? What was the reason for it?

The setlist of the lost souls festival!
What are their favorite places to visit in Norway ?
How hard was it to find someone to replace Anita ? Did they look for the same kind of voice ? How do they feel the old songs have changed because of this ?
What direction will the new material go into ?

Are they gonna do a proper tour once they get the new album done?

If they tour is it going to be all over Europe?

If they could cover any one song what would it be?

If they could get any musician to make a guest appearance on an album who would it be and why?

Thanks for all the questions. i'll look what i can do with it.

I have some remarks and questions about the questions :

I really like the question from Appolyon, but it's a difficult one i think! Because probably every fan thinks his 'idol' is the best. Maybe the market for this music is rather small because the music is too 'specialized'? Are Tristania and Sirenia überhaupt much more famous than the Sins?

The question about the cover song is a good one, but they already have a cover song!?

About the origin of the name, i think that can be found in other interviews already.

Thanks for concerning my question.Because i hear the music of TSOTB since i was a teenager i really have many many questions about their whole career up to now, but  most likely i will never get an answer. My only dream is that some day i would have the chance to have a full discussion with them(or at least some of them).

Anyway i dont think that TSOTB are like Tristania,Sirenia or anything else that belongs to the same genre. They are far more sentimental and heartouching than other bands.I wonder...,do they have ambitions nowadays to become famous like other bands?

Have you tried listening to Perpetual Desolation after Loake of Sorrow?

And if the band arn't going to do anything, will they announce themselves broken up, or leave us waiting?

All the questions are really good, so I only would ask:

In which country have you feel better playing?

BTW: I liked the question about the fave song to play =)
