After years of personal agony and search i finally have some verified (1000%)news.
TSOTB are alive but without Anita,Ingfrid and Anders.A new album will be releashed but not earlier than 2006 since the band is looking for a female singer by this time. Again Pete will be participating with his violin and let as all hope that they will remain as good as their past.....

Though i didn't find out whether we should be happy now or cry...
Finding replacement or alternatives for the three lost top-musicians really can't be an easy question, for not to say impossible.
At least the fact their album won't be released until 2006 proves they still want to deliver quality, so let's hope indeed the album will be worth the waiting!
Cries.... TSOTB without the sweet angelic voice of Anita, thats about the same loss as Trail of Tears without Helena or Tristania without Morten, cause with both losses the magic of these bands unfortunately rapidly disappeared. I don't think Anita can be replaced, I would wish so much that she would return in the band and so for Ingfrid and Anders. Please all come back and share with us your enchanting melodies again.
Unfortunatelly i understand perfectly all of your your emotions and thoughts since i grew up with TSOTB in the form that they were the previous ages.Its a pity that this magical combination of the past cannot repeat itself.
But no matter the problems i ll always believe in them and support them.I just hope that they wont change that much as "Theatre Of Tragedy"

This must be one of the greatest news I have ever recived. This band is just so incredible awesome fantastic ! I "pray" that the band can give us another heck of a music cd without the loss of members, but im not sure that is possible

It's great to hear a verified announcement that TSOTB are still alive - it has been a long wait for the many of us!! I used to regularly check the official website and although not updated it was promising that it was still up - but then it was taken down! It is good I find this forum - I must sign up...
I also have been searching over the past years to find if Anita or any of the other x-members have gotten involved in other musical projects? Alas, I have turned up nothing... Anybody know anything?
Havent heard anything about any of the x members, would really like to know what they are up to now, music wise.
I did the same thing, checked the web page every day, then booom, gone, but I saw one of the band memebers yesterday Stig Johansen on a football match, bryne vs pors grenland. I almost had the courage to go over and talk to him :) He lives around here where I live...kinda cool :)

So i believe that most of you have learned the news.The band is now lined up and only thing that remains is that we are going to see them entering the studio(finally!!!!)
As for NAPALM RECORDS they dont know what the **** is going on.Nothing is certain about the exact release date of the album.Hopefully it will be releashed within 2006 but thats only a speculation.
Lastly i would like to ask if anyone knows anything more about the new members or anything else concerning TSOTB please inform me by e-mail.

Question for the webmaster: How do you know the name of the new singer is Mona Wallin ?
Because Mona from Myriads (Mona Undheim Skottene) also lives in Stavanger and has a very good high voice.
I really hope the band will do an interview soon. And I hope even more someone who was in Kristiansand will do a review and post pictures. I would have gone if only I knew
2) Yesterday i found pics of the Lost Souls Festival gig. You can see on them that the singer is definetely not Mona Undheim Scottene (I must admit, initially i also thought it would be this Mona). At least, from the moment i will post the pictures
But i will post them asap.
The band has, until now, not been to the studio yet. My instinct tells me a new album won't come out before may 2006. I have no idea how much time goes between the studio work and the album to come out.
But i guess this means there might be not enough questions for a prolific interview. Maybe we should start a topic: possible interview questions?

There are just so many questions, as to what happened to the band. I can understand they don't want to share much information about what happened, why Anita and the others left; yet maybe they can write something official about it... Who are the new members, how will they do the keyboards live, ... Perhaps if they'd realize again how wonderfull they were and are, if we could make them realize, if only, ... (lets dream on)
TSOTB has been my number one band for years ever since I discovered them in 99. Their music is just perfectly balanced, dreamy, powerfull, fantastic. I really hope they all get together again.
1.5 years ago (summer 04) when they seemed to have vanished from the earth, we went on a 'find the Sins' trip to Norway, trying to find people who knew them. Attending a festival, talking to local goth/metal people, even visiting Stavanger (Kristiansand, Bergen, ..). No one had heard from them in years. The trip was wonderfull anyway - you should see their beautifull country to understand why they can make such wonderfull music - but it would have been nice if there was more news to find out.
I would love to read an interview. The amount of information and thoughts from the minds of any of them from the past 5 years that can be found on the internet is far below what you'd desire from such a great fantastic band. Then again, it adds to the mystery that's been surrounding them.
I can wait another 6 months for an album. But I hope they'd finally do so.. and even more: concerts... It doesn't matter where, I'll go there. If I had known the Kristiansand concert was taking place in october, I would have travelled 2000km to be there. It doesn't matter how far it is, or what they think of their own performance. It would be a wonderfull day anyway.

The very most information i have is on the 'news' part of the site. Information that i doubt is meant to be made public will not appear on the site.
I'll open a topic for questions to the sins. If there are enought senseful and unanswered questions maybe a modest interview can be proposed to the band.
No Belgium (like you ?) It depends how you get to Stavanger I guess. We drove all the way through Sweden using the bridge to Malmo. I'll start thinking what questions I'd like to see answered.
Mmm this is getting very interesting. I wonder if anybody has spoken to any of the band members about getting the OFFICIAL site back up and running again. Maybe even makeing tsotb.tk the official one. Afterall i know lots of people down here in South Africa who love the band and wont to find out more about them. And when they search around they find nothing. I mean the Napalm records link is a dead one and that is the first place people look.
its just not going to be the same.
