OK first things first, this is not 100% true, so knowone hold me to it but... I was on the Tristania web site and I posted a question to Anders, it was something like "whats the deal with TSOTB, are they active, can we expect new things are is all lost?" he replied something along the lines of "expect new things very soon" with a couple of new tours and some fresh faces, perhapes we will see some new things from the band, very soon.... does anyone else have any gossip?

Well I dont know, I would have to say it was Anders from Tristania, I can not remember where but I heard TSOTB and Tristania are good friends, is there even any truth to this?

Probably... They say in their Perp. Des. booklet 'greetings to...' and there Tristania is the first to be mentioned. I also think they're both live in the neighbourhood of Stavanger, and furthermore they used to share their violinist.
Actually, has Tristania still got violins in their songs? I've seen their new video clips, and, to say it kindly, it looks like they really changed their style, is that right?
No i dont think they use violins anymore, not a main part anyway....none of there new stuff has anything on my lost lenore, i love that song so much...SO great
and i think master of the masters still does not do him justice...the solo (3:15 - 3:45) in forever is AMAZING

Ok time for an update, we know that there has been some performances so surley there must be some new material or something, anyone have a sniff of this, a rumor, something overheard...if not make something up i think were all getting desperate HAHAHAAHAH

Well,latest info says that the band was about to go into studio this summer and maybe by the end of the season i ll have more news concerning that.There is also another scenario which i will not like to discuss at this time because i am still in the verification stage.
One way or another i ll try to keep you informed as fas i can

And in my World of Glass booklet (by Tristania), it says greetings and thankyou to Anders and The Sins of Thy Beloved, as well as other bands like Trail of Tears.

Is this for real! I also like Tristania very much. Are you telling us that both bands are from the area of Stavanger Norway? that's too much. And shared the violinist? Best violinist in a Rock/Goth band I ever heard. No wonder I like Tristania also, they are related in some ways to the Sins. LOL. Small world isn't it. I wish it were smaller, and the Sins could see the light of their own success.
