I love the art work of Lake of Sorrow, its beautiful, the "cheap" (chaep is NOT the right word but i cant think of the right word) makes it seem so much better, i lveo the blue feel, then you open the cover and BAM the cd is green, it is lovley, i also like the Perpetual Desolation artwork, what is she in on the front cover, it looks like some torture device, does anyone know??? Also what is the wierd "T" symbol??? i am sorry im hopeless i know

Anita looks tempting heh
I think I love LoS artwork better, I don't know why, it looks doomish
But PD's artwork is beautiful, I must admit

The T-symbol maybe symbolizes a dagger? I have also been wondering for a long time!

I guess the artwork on PD is more symbolic, more like just holding the woman immobile than hurting her physically, since the cd refers often to some kind of mental torment. Once i heard the blame that the cover is quite commercial. I don't think it is, it is just fitting the music - i had never heard of them, and then i saw this cd in the library between hundreds of others, and i picked out exactly that one, even knowing that no beautiful women will come out the cd or something.

But, i wonder what the sentence 'Erotica and innocence belongs to us' on the textile refers to. I've tried for a long time, but it's really hard to find myself in that one.

i cant see it, "Erotica and innocence belongs to us" i cant find it, this is lame im staring at the cover for 1/2 an hour, it is interesting though, maybe someone who does this "interview" can ask that question...the holding the woman immobile makes PERFECT sence, i love it, i cant believe i didnt think of that

the dagger, i dont know, it dosnt seem to make any sence either, but its better than anything i can come up with!!!

Well...the Lake of Sorrow's artwork is more beautiful and artistic, and the artwork from Perpetual Desolation is more psychologic...The Sins of thy Beloved never was a commercial band,so I don't think nothing about the commercial reasons. And yes:the sentence "Erotica and innocence belongs to us" is a good explication. But well...I don't think that one is better than other, there're 2 different means and topics!I only don't understand well the T-symbol...confusedsmile

I adore the Lake of Sorrow artwork.
It's so medieval and cold feeling. It's one of my favorite album artworks ever.
I also think it characterizes the album very well.

The artwork for Perpetual Desolation is pretty good, but not as good as LoS.
